Viola Valkyrie Waddlesworth flew into my life on March 12th, 2016 at the ripe young age of twenty-six years old.

2018. Nothing can keep her down!

Her open band confirms it, since the Wild Caught Bird Act wasn’t passed until 1992; poor baby was also most likely wild-caught, but she’s a sweetheart in spite of it!

She’s a cuddle-bug who loves having her head rubbed.

We’ve worked really hard to win her trust (she was kept in a cage and rarely handled for a long time–eight years or so from my recollection) and help her grow stronger and stronger every day. She’s a bit of a perch potato if we let her, but with patience and a variety of different playgyms, she’s re-learning how to be a winged monkey!
